Tribute

This year's holiday party will be celebrating the life of Tom Brigandi’s long-time friend, His Excellency Foday Mansaray, High Representative to the UN and African Region at the International Human Rights Commission, who tragically passed away in April 2020 due to COVID-19 complications. According to New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Foday Mansaray was a strong advocate for his native Sierra Leone and especially for our states and our region’s Sierra Leonean and West African communities. He put his community before himself and was always thinking about how else he could help others. Murphy went on to describe Mansaray "as a kind and hardworker whose boundless energy and sense of humor spread to all who happened to be around him." The holiday party will also be celebrating the life of Cindy Stockhausen, Tom’s aunt, who fought Stage 4 cancer for nearly a year before sadly passing away on September 23rd 2020. We will also be celebrating the life of Jim Ingwersen, Tom’s uncle, who tragically passed away on November 22nd 2020. Joyously, the party will be celebrating the birth of the second child of Tom's cousin Ben Bartolotta, Esq. and his wife, in addition to the near full recovery of Tom's father from a life-threatening bone infection after undergoing months of medical treatment.
